A coach load of 22 swimmers and their parents had a great weekend at the Valley Aquatic’s Meet at Kurri Kurri on the weekend. There was some tremendous results with everyone swimming fantastic.Some swimmers achieved State and Country times and heaps and heaps of P.B’s were swum by many of our swimmers. Congratulations and well done to everyone on a fantastic day.
What a great weekend was had by everyone at the Jets Carnival in Orange. Our 17 swimmers did themselves proud with some great swimming,doing many P.B,s,and collecting lots of medals and prize money. Congratulations to all our swimmers on an awesome weekend of swimming.
9 swimmers represented Kooty at the NE & NW Area S/C Championships at Armidale. All swimmers swam amazing with heaps of P.B,s and medals won by all our swimmers.A special mention to our 10/U Girls Freestyle & 10/U Girls Medley Relay teams who both set new Area records in winning both events. Congratulations and well done to everyone.
The Kooty Club swimmers representing many different schools in and around Tamworth have done amazingly well over the last few weeks. Some fantastic times have been achieved by all our swimmers rewarding them by all of their hard work at training over this summer. Congratulations to all our swimmers on some awesome swimming .
Summer season comes to an end with an awesome presentation day. The weather was brilliant, food great and a fantastic turnout of Kooty Swim Club families at the Kooty Hotel.Congratulations to all our swimmers on an outstanding season. The improvement in all our swimmers from our mini’s to our A squad was there for everyone to see.Well done to all our trophy and award winners for this season.Looking forward to many of our swimmers continuing on with their training over the winter months and for those who aren’t doing winter training i look forward to seeing you all at Kooty pool in October.Thanks everyone for an awesome summer season.
Our 2016/2017 Club Championships concluded on Sunday 19th March with all of our swimmers doing extremely well. A total of 35 new Club Records were set this year which is testament to how our swimmers have excelled over the summer season. 13 different swimmers got their name in the record books. A total of 223 P.B/Best new times were swum by our swimmers with nearly 60 swimmers entered this year. Congratulations to all our swimmers on your brilliant swimming over the two days.
Will Walsh was the star performer as part of the NE & NW Speedo Sprints Representitive Squad at Homebush on 12th March. Will Collected 3 medals in a fantastic performance; a Gold Medal in the 50m Freestyle , Silver in the 50m Butterfly and a Bronze Medal in the 50m Backstroke. Well done Will on some brilliant swims. You should be very proud of your achievements . I am sure there will be many more visits for you to the Homebush pool in the years to come. Congratulations !!!!!
Welcome to all our members , new and old for another season with Kootingal Moonbi Swimming Club. The summer season has started with some mixed weather but i am sure we will get our fair share of hot weather as the season progresses. It has been great to see so many new members join our great club this season and also the return of many of last years members back for 2017/18.
Our club is lucky to have Kootingal Hotel as our Major Sponsor. A big thank you to Andrew and everyone at the Kootingal Hotel for supporting our swim club. We look forward to having a great year and with the support of the Kootingal Hotel it will certainly be a great benefit to all of us. I ask all our members , families and friends to call into the Kooty Hotel and say hello , have a quiet lemonade or two and even dine out with some delicious meals at great prices. Also thankyou to our other sponsors and supporters ; NHP ( Electrical ) , McDonalds ( Natalie Scanlon ) and Regional Australia Bank.
Our training is underway with some great numbers at our Mini Squads and good numbers at all our other squads. Club Night/Pointscore has started as well with fantastic numbers turning up each Tuesday evening which is encouraging to see.
The club carnivals in the Area have also started with some great times being swum by many of our swimmers . Our Kootingal Moonbi Club Carnival is on Sunday 14th January 2018 and i am sure all our swimmers are looking forward to swimming well on this day against all the other swimmers from around our region.
